JUNIOR EXPLORER AMERICAN IMMERSION
Held in the beautiful and safe Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, our summer program is designed for international students from all over the world who want to improve their English skills through everyday recreational activities with their American peers.
About the Program:
Participants experience everyday life in the United States by living with local Host Families, being enrolled in All-American recreational summer programs with American peers and having fun in a supervised and supportive environment.
What better way to learn the spoken language than to experience authentic life in the United States?
Age: 7 – 13 years old
When: July- mid August, minimum 1 week, Sunday-Sunday
Housing: Homestay, highly selected local families
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Arrival airport: Complementary transportation to/ from Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford, CT; we will greet the student at the airport at the arrival and assist at the check in at the departure
Round transportation service from/ to Boston Logan Airport or from/ to JFK Airport (New York) at additional cost
Highlights of the All-American Summer Program:
- Summer Celebration- The American Way: Picnics, BBQ, Fireworks Shows and concerts, total immersion with American hosts
- Tour of Deerfield Academy, one of the top college preparatory high schools in the United States, est. 1797
- Visit to the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art
- Visit to the Basketball Hall of Fame
- Visit to Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden and Springfield Museums
- Day at Six Flags New England amusement and water park (minimum stay 2 weeks)
- Shopping, movie theaters, mini-golf, rollerblading and more
- Day in Boston, visit Harvard and MIT (minimum stay 2 weeks)

We have a special offer for YOU as well! You could stay with or without your child(ren) in a local cozy hotel or Bed & Breakfast, and start your day with a nice breakfast every morning. Sample Daily Schedule:
8:00 AM Breakfast with host families or with parents
9:00 AM-5:00 PM English Immersion and Recreation program with American peers: outdoor activities, arts and sports, cultural enrichment, education, life and social skills, team building workshops
6:00- 8:00 PM English in Use: Dinner and evening with host families, learn how to prepare American meals, cook burgers, pancakes, mac and cheese or bake cupcakes and brownies with your hosts. Parents welcome! Watch a movie or play board games with your host family.
